Menifee raised me.

My family moved here in 1990, eighteen years before Menifee became a city. I’ve lived here for more than three decades. I went to Callie Kirkpatrick Elementary, then Menifee Valley and Bell Mountain middle schools, and finished high school through an independent study program. I earned my associate degree at Mt. San Jacinto College here in Menifee. Today my wife Ana and I are raising our own family in Heritage Lake.

I’m not a career politician. I’m a small business owner and technical founder. I’ve spent twenty years building websites and software, and since 2012 I’ve worked for myself, starting at my kitchen table: helping small businesses launch, meeting payroll, managing budgets, and starting a few companies of my own along the way. I sold one of them. I know how to stretch a dollar and how to get things done, and some of that work has been for local nonprofits and for my church. I bring an operator’s eyes to City Hall, not a politician’s habits.

I’ve never developed real estate, and I have no business interests awaiting a city decision. I’m running because the decisions Menifee makes over the next four years will be some of the most consequential in its history, and District 4 needs a council member who works for the family and the small business owner and will protect our semi-rural, small-town feel. I’ll ask the same question every time a project comes across the dais: does this actually make life better for the people who live here?
