Menifee raised me.

My family moved here in 1990, eighteen years before Menifee became a city. I’ve lived here for more than three decades. I went to Callie Kirkpatrick Elementary, then Menifee Valley and Bell Mountain middle schools, and finished high school through an independent study program. I earned my associate degree at Mt. San Jacinto College here in Menifee. Today my wife Ana and I are raising our own family in Heritage Lake.

I’m not a career politician. I currently own and operate a technology consulting firm that provides web development, software development, and IT consulting for small businesses and professional practices. I also previously owned a staffing and recruiting company in San Diego.

I’ve spent twenty years building websites and software, and for the last 15 years I’ve worked for myself, starting at my kitchen table. Across that work, I’ve helped entrepreneurs get businesses off the ground, helped employers find the right people, met payroll, managed budgets, and seen up close what it takes to create and sustain good jobs. I’ve started several companies and sold one. Some of my work has been for local nonprofits and my church. I know how to stretch a dollar and get things done. Working for myself taught me something pretty simple: you listen, you make a decision, and then you get results. That’s the approach I’ll bring to City Hall.

I’m running because the decisions Menifee makes over the next four years will be some of the most consequential in its history, and District 4 needs a council member who works for the family and the small business owner and will protect our semi-rural, small-town feel. I’ll ask the same question every time a project comes across the dais: does this actually make life better for the people who live here?
