The issues, one at a time
Menifee has real successes worth building on. These pages explain where I want to continue that progress, where I would advocate a change in direction, and what the city can realistically control.
Housing and local control
Follow state law and carry through on Menifee’s support for Murrieta’s local-control resolution. Review higher-density housing case by case, backing it only where the location, infrastructure, and traffic can support it and it fits the surrounding neighborhood.
Warehouses
Respect each pending application's legal position while using future planning and economic-development tools to add space for local employers.
Growth and retail
Build on Menifee's commercial momentum by making room for more storefronts, medical offices, licensed childcare, and local jobs.
Public safety
Back the officers keeping Menifee safe and use clear workload data to keep public-safety resources ahead of growth.
Homelessness
Compassion without giving up accountability. Help people who are willing to accept help, and protect our parks, businesses, and neighborhoods too.
Measure AA
The district has proposed campus projects, but I have not seen guaranteed funding allocations by school or a binding delivery schedule.
